What Happened to The Tiny House?

As many of you know, in 2019, the Lake County board passed a moratorium on the rental of tiny homes which effectively made it impossible for us to provide stays at Endeavor One until further notice without risk of legal ramifications. After over a year of trying to work with the county to get this new legislation rescinded, it was clear that there was little to no chance of that happening. As a result, we had no choice but to close the tiny house for good.

To this day, there has been no movement on the moratorium and no sign that it will be lifted anytime soon.

With that said, we are still working hard to provide unique ways to explore the North Shore area and Minnesota as a whole! Our goal is to continue this effort until we are able open another vacation rental that we can share with you all.

Despite all the struggle, we are so grateful for the love and support that we have seen from this community and from all the people who got to spend time at Endeavor One before we closed. We thank you so much for the support and encouragement and would love for you to take a look at our new initiatives such as Endeavor Pass and our adventure gear rental program, Endeavor Outfitters.

Thank you all so much!
